Mr. Alex Wayne Lilly was born on September 19, 1952. Alex grew up in Montevallo, AL. He attended Carlton Hill Baptist Church in Brierfield, AL. He attended Shelby and Bibb County School System and later attended Alabama State University in Montgomery, AL. Later in his life he confessed Jesus as his Lord and Savior witnessed by his cousin Dennis Lilly. He departed this life on November 03, 2020 at home with his wife, daughter, and granddaughter by his side.

Alex is preceded in death by his Father Reverend Alex Lilly, Sister Muriel Lilly Crymes, Brother John Edward Lilly and Daughter Alexis Lilly.

 He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving mother, Earlene Avery Lilly, a faithful and devoted wife Diana Adams Lilly, Daughters; Crystal Wooley, Deborah Marsh, Tanya (Courtland) Robertson and Son Colby Adams: Siblings; Dorothy (George) Drake, Calera, AL., Lawrence (Catherine) Lilly, Montevallo, AL., Sheila (Johnny) Heard, Broadview, IL., Twanda (Hosea) Moore, Montevallo, AL., Cheyrl (Thomas) Brown, Montevallo, AL, Kelvin E. Lilly, Montevallo, AL., Brother in laws Jeffery (Meechie) Adams, Alabaster, AL., Phllip Ray Wilson, Alabaster, AL., Sister in law  Shavon (Aaron) Gover, Alabaster, AL., Grandchildren; Tori Watson, Mercedes Lilly, Diamond  Bell, ShaCorry Lilly, Demetrius Lilly, Great Grandson Auden Lilly and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins friends and family.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. on The Grounds of The Good Shepherd Funeral Home with burial at Galilee Cemetery in Saginaw, AL. Rev. Ray Lilly - Officiating
