Wanda Joyce Harris

The world lost a beloved mother, Wanda Joyce Harris, on April 7, 2021. Wanda battled Leukemia, but it never stopped her from being the best mom, sister, grandmother, aunt, or friend she could be. Wanda passed away in her sister's home surrounded by those who loved her dearly. She was a quiet person, but she had a great spirit. No matter how she felt, she could always make you smile. She wasn’t too big on pictures, but MAN, her smile sure could light up a room. If anyone knew Wanda, they’d tell you she LOVED her grandchildren, and her grandchildren LOVED her. She had her own relationship with everyone in her life and if you really got to know her, you grew to love her. Wanda was born on December 20, 1967 at Shelby Baptist. She graduated from Montevallo High School in Montevallo, AL. She is survived by her sister, Donna Harris. She is preceded in death by her mother, Dora Marie Harris, her father, Idolph ‘Don’ Harris, and her sister, Sandy Evette Harris. She leaves to cherish her memories: four children, Travis Speigner (37) of Montevallo, AL, Angelica Speigner (33) of Gadsden, AL, Albenique Speigner (31) of Gadsden, AL, Albert Speigner III of Bahrain; eight grandchildren, Brelon Reynolds (18), Aaliyah Davis (13), Lexi Speigner (5) all of Gadsden, AL, Abiyhan Jallah-Speigner (13), Ardyn Speigner (8) both of Houston, TX, Jeremiah Speigner (11), Aureigh Baylor (4), unborn Speigner all of Gadsden, AL; a host of nieces and nephews; and many special friends and family.
