Javontae DeAnthony Goode was born on August 10, 1996, to the late Janese S. Billingsley and Anthony L. Goode in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
He was a member of Freewill Apostolic Holiness Church, where he served as the drummer.
He graduated from Bibb County High School. He was very athletic and best known as "SpongeBob" #57 for the Bibb County Choctaws and is now affectionately known as "BigBaby".
He attended Miles College.
He was employed by Brookwood Mine.
He departed this life on January 28, 2024.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Xavier Ahmire Goode "Nugget" and Bryson Ahmarri Goode; two grandparents, Pastor Elder Gloria Goode and Calvin Billingsley; one uncle, Calvin Billingsley "Pop".
He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving son, Zy'Eirre Armani Goode and his mother Lyn'Khishia Farrington, a devoted father, Anthony and Stepmother Denise Goode, a devoted aunt, Veronica "TeTe" Goode; uncle Leander Goode; one brother, Jamarcus (Laporshia) Goode; one sister, Shontell Cutts; special cousin, Ke'Nore Goode; Grandfather Leroy Goode; Grandmother, Jeanette Billingsley; two aunts, Bobbette Lott and Deanne Lockett ; two nephews, JaMarcus Goode Jr., and Jordan Leverette; two nieces JaMeria Goode and Kynslee "KK" White and a host of other family and friends.
Viewing will be held Friday, Feb. 2, 2024, from 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. at The Good Shepherd.
A Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, at 12:00 Noon at Pleasant Sabine Baptist Church in Centreville.
