Annie professed her faith in The Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age, at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church.

By all accounts, Annie was a clever and high-spirited child.   She received her early education at Almont Elementary and Shelby County Training School.

Annie was a homemaker and had many talents and gifts.  She worked for years at cleaners using her gift as seamstress.  Hairdresser is another one of Annie’s gifts, she worked at Jordan Beauty Shop being famous for her press and curls.

Crocheting and making quilts were also some of her past time favorites.  Many family members can say they got one of her now family heirlooms. That famous lemon pie will forever be a family favorite. She enjoyed doing her word search puzzles until her death.

Throughout her 95 years, Annie was constantly learning and interested in new experiences. Annie loved everyone and treated everyone with respect. Her memory will be cherished by all those whose lives she touched.

On February 6, 2021, Annie received her wings and transitioned to her heavenly rest.  She has taken her place in the presence of the Lord.
