Alice Patricia "Pat" Harris-Speigner aka "Allison" was born March 3, 1963, in Calera, AL, to the late Jewel Dean Harris-King. She confessed her love for Christ at an early age and grew up in and remained a member of First Baptist Church in Calera, AL. Pat was educated in the public school system of Shelby County at Calera High School, where she remained in a close bond with several of her classmates of the Class of 1982. Pat was well-known for being the cook at Paw Paw's Restaurant in Columbiana, AL, where many enjoyed the meals she served. She later worked at Everyday Sunshine Daycare in Bessemer, AL, as a dedicated daycare worker. She was last employed at the BP Gas Station on Hwy 70 in Calera, AL. Many store patrons frequently stopped in to visit her and share a good laugh. She met the love of her life, Jerome Speigner, at the age of 17 and their paths reconnected in July of 2022. They were united in Holy Matrimony on December 31, 2022, and resided in Calera, AL, until her passing. Pat was preceded in death by her mother, Jewel D. Harris-King; brother, Christopher L. Harris; and sister, Cynthia D. Harris-Wilson. Pat leaves to celebrate her memory: her loving & devoted husband, Jerome Speigner; her beloved son, Terrance Lynne Harris (Calera, AL); her grandson, Alijah Terran Harris; her granddaughter, Parker Noelle Harris; special niece, Nariah Mone't Harris; three sisters, Phyllis Marie Harris-McNeal (Newark, DE), Leigh Ann Harris (Calera, AL), Muriel Yvette (Anthony) Harris-Bailey (Goodlettsville, TN); close nephew, Jason Leon Harris; three special cousins, Michael Harris, Ora Doss, Reena Wicker; best friend, Yolanda "Tweety" Gaiters; sisters in law, Hollery Harris, Carolyn (Jerome) Adams, brother in law, Rodney (Delencia) Johnson; stepdaughter, LaChresha Speigner; step-son, Eric Speigner; step-grandson, Tony Bivins; a good friend, Terrance Yowe; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
