Alice Evette Johnson Pearce

was born to the parentage of Mr. Richard A. Davis and the late Florida Lucille Russell Evans in Calera, AL on June 11, 1972.

She confessed Christ at an early age and joined First Baptist Church in Calera, AL. Later in life she joined New Beginnings Church in Birmingham, AL where she was a stayed a member until her untimely demise.

She received her education in the Shelby County School Systems. Alice worked in health care with Care First Home Health Care. She is preceded in death by two brothers; Curtis L. Johnson and James (Grub) Johnson.

Alice departed this life on June 10, 2018 at Brookwood Baptist Hospital in Alabaster, AL.

She leaves to cherish her memories, Her children: Dexter Sherrod Pearce, Anjelica Pearce and Tamara Pearce. Her father Richard (Harriett) Davis; Her brother, Courtney (Kate) Hall; Her special cousin, Willie Dean Johnson and special nephew, Anthony Terrell Marsh, Nine grandchildren; Derrion, Malic, Aubrey, Alonterrius, Quenterius, A'zairia, Tamiya, Dakarius, and Andell and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who shall miss her dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 21 at 11:00 a.m. at New Mt. Mariah Missionary Baptist Church in Calera with burial following at the First Baptist Cemetery.
