Bro. Al Naugher was born November 15, 1959, to the late Emerson and Lillie Mae Naugher.

He confessed Christ at an early age and joined Green Chapel Baptist Church under the late Pastor Mays and until death under the leadership of the late Pastor Billy Craig.

Al graduated with the class of 1978 from Montevallo High School.

He departed this life Saturday, April 1, 2023, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Al was preceded in death by his parents, Emerson & Lillie Mae Naugher; brothers, Benjamin, Edward, & William Naugher; sisters, Mary Dean Naugher & Rose Hudson; and niece, Courtney Worthey.

Al leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Maurice (Ralsheene) Naugher; two grandchildren, Kiara & Demetrius Naugher, Helena, AL; brother, Emerson Naugher Jr., Washington, D.C.; two sisters, Queen Rogers, Calera, AL & Callie (Earnest) Worthey, Montevallo, AL, two aunts, Pearlie (Rev. Henry) Rainer & Jean Wilson of California; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Viewing will be held Friday, April 7, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at The Good Shepherd.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 12:00 Noon at The Good Shepherd with interment at Montevallo Cemetery.
