Alvin Earl Swift, Jr. was born on September 2, 1969 to the late Alvin Earl Swift, Sr. and Diane E. Swift in Alabaster, Alabama.

He was baptized in Jesus name at Bethesda Apostolic Worship Center on October 22, 2009 under the leadership of Bishop Gary Bivins.

He attended Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama.

He united in Holy Matrimony to Balinda McCarter on November2, 2009, and to this union two children were born that he loved and adored.

He was employed at Carmuse Lime and Stone in Saginaw, Alabama for over twenty years.  He owned R & S Kennels in Alabaster, Alabama and leaves this legacy to his family to continue.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving wife, Balinda McCarter-Swift; four children, Jeremiah Swift of Rowlett, TX, Lakaih Swift, Amyiah Swift and Azyaih Swift, all of Alabaster, AL; a loving and devoted mother, Diane Swift; two sisters, Avaon (Terrance) Gaiters of Alabaster, AL, Tyrie (Percy) Martin of Birmingham, AL; one half brother, Tony Locket; one grandchild, Paris Swift of Alabaster, AL; mother-in-law, Amalee, McCarter; and mother-in-law Wanda McCarter  Brother & Sister in Laws Ladonna McCarter, Alfredo McCarter (Alexandria),  James McCarter, Lawanna Todd (LaBaron), Dontae McCarter; a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunties, cousins and other relatives and friends who shall miss him dearly; a very special father, Jimmy Underwood, Jr. (Cynthia) , and Don Ransom; a host of very special friends that was always there every day no matter what.

Viewing will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. at The Good Shepherd.

A  Graveside Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at Galilee Cemetery in Saginaw, AL.  Bishop Gary Bivins - Officiating.
