Obituary

Annie Denise Goode Thomas made her transition from earth to heaven on Monday, February 6, 2023, at 5:05 A.M. at Brookwood Shelby Hospital, Alabaster, AL.

She was born June 26, 1961, to the late Marion and Annie Goode.

She confessed Christ at an early age at Pleasant Sabine Baptist Church, Antioch, AL. She attended Montevallo High School.

She was very witty and loved her makeup!

She was preceded in death by her father & mother, Marion & Annie Goode, her sister, Ava Gayle Holmes, and her son, Jesse Myrone Rutledge Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving son, Deshawn S. Goode; seven grandchildren, Francina LaShawn Goode, Jordan DeShawn Goode, Dylan DeShawn Goode, all of Centreville, AL, Colby Kelly, West Blocton, AL, Exavier (Yaira) Cardwell, Hoover, AL, Jaylen and Brooklyn Rutledge, Montevallo, AL; two great grandchildren, Jordan NaVan Goode, Centerville, AL, Aaria Cartwell, Hoover, AL; three sisters, Sylvia Diane Goode, Montevallo, AL, Sheila (Randy) Erwin, Anniston, AL, Shirley Fields, Aldrich, AL; one brother, Barry (Cheryl) Goode, Montevallo AL; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Viewing will be held, Friday, February 10, 2023, from 4 pm to 6 pm at The Good Shepherd Funeral Home, Montevallo, AL.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Pleasant Sabine Missionary Baptist Church, 397 Church Lane, Centerville, AL 35042
