Sister Annie Florence Wilson was born August 19, 1946 to the parentage of Dave V. Smelley and Evelyn Delois Johnson Smelley.

She joined Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Albert L. Jones. She served as Sunday Superintendent for many years. She was employed at Shelby Baptist Hospital for thirty two years and she retired in October 2011.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

She departed this life on Monday Feb. 6, 2017.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son: Randy Smelley of Montevallo, AL; one god-daughter; Felicia Lilly, two god-sons: Dominic and Xavier Lilly and a host of other family and friends who shall miss her dearly. Funeral service will be held Sat. Feb. 18, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Wilton with burial at Montevallo Cemetery.
