Anthony
Doss
June 30, 1961 – May 14, 2024
Anthony Doss was born July 30, 1961, in Anniston, Alabama to the late Junior and Eula V. Doss. He confessed his love for Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized into the membership of Bethel Baptist Church in Anniston, AL. Anthony was a graduate of the class of 1979 of Anniston High School. He developed a passion for truck driving as a child and was employed by Osborne Trucking Company for 25 years until his health prevented it. Anthony was united in holy matrimony to Ora Jean Doss on May 21, 2010. He moved to Calera, AL and united with First Baptist Church Calera. He was ordained as a deacon in 2012 and also cherished singing praises to the Lord in the choir. Anthony was an avid Alabama "Roll Tide" fan, and a passionate fan of WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) and would not miss a Friday night of it, if he could help it. Above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his wife, family and friends. He touched many with his kind, loving spirit and will be deeply missed.
Anthony entered peacefully into the presence of the Lord on May 14, 2024, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster, AL. He was supported by his wife, other family and friends.
