Anthony Bryant Edwards Sr . aka (Amp) was born on June 9, 1964 to the late Mr. Jimmy Wilson and Mrs. Stella Edwards Johnson.

Anthony is preceded in death by his father and brother Mr. Jimmy and Mr. Byron Wilson, his paternal Grandparents, his Maternal grandmother Mrs. Para Lee Edwards and his sister Miss SamanthaBivins.

Anthony leaves to cherish his loving memories: wife Mrs. Pamela Edwards, His mother: Mrs. Stella Johnson (Hugh), his grandfather Mr. Jimmy Edwards Sr, and his Step-mother Mrs. Bobbie Ruth Wilson, his children:Shecondria (Bay) Edwards, Anthony Edwards Jr., Breunna Oden and Shanteeka Reed- Purnell.

His brothers: Mr. Cedrick Wilson, Mr. Gary Bivins (LaGanda) and Mr. Deon Bivins.

Also left to cherish loving memories are his grandchildren, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, classmates and friends.

Anthony enjoyed singing in the choir. He later accepted Christ at Emmanuel Temple Holiness Church.

Anthony graduated from Thompson High School class of 1983. Anthony was given the name Slick Rick. He also had a love for Basketball and played for the Thompson Warriors.

Anthony had a contagious smile and a love for people. Anthony was employed by Coosa Composites LLCin Pelham, Alabama until his illness would not allow him to work any longer.

Viewing will be held Friday, April 16, 2021 from 4:00 P.m. – 6:00 P.M. at The Good Shepherd Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 12;00 Noon on The Grounds of The Good Shepherd with Entombment at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, AL.
