Brenda Joyce Russell was born to the parentage of the late John Russell and Leslie Peeples Taylor on  May 30, 1959  in Birmingham, AL

She graduated from Pelham High School in Pelham Alabama

Brenda was a devoted Christian:  Her passions were kids especially her grandkids. She just genuinely had a love for people in general.

She worked as a caregiver for United Cerebral Palsy for the earlier part of her career where she devoted her heart and time to those with physical challenges and disabilities.

Brenda was called home to be with our God in Heaven on June 6, 2021 at Select Specialites of Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. She was preceded in death by her sister Sandra Billings.

She leaves to cherish her memories  one son Bobby Billings Jr  of Birmingham, AL and one daughter Tiffanie Russell Wooley  of  Helena, AL, Three grandsons: Brandon, Braylon and Jermaine

Five Sisters:Debra Williams-Montevallo,Al -Sherrie Gildon- Helena,AL-Carolyn Russell- Hoover, AL- Delores Taylor (Harry)- Jemison, AL - Patricia Glover- Tuscaloosa, AL- Three Brothers:John Russell-Birmingham, AL- Frederick Russell-Helena ,AL- Anthony Taylor (Tara) Alabaster, AL

and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Viewing will be held Friday, June 18, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Helena, Al with interment at Liberty Cemetery in Elliottsville.
