Charlie Mack Cooper was born October 26, 1936 in Lowndes County, AL to the late Mary Alice Gardner and Charlie Cooper.
He was the youngest son of twenty children. Fourteen preceded him in death...
Charlie was baptized at Emmanuel Temple Holiness Church under the leadership of the late Elder Otis Allen.
He was married to the Betty Jo Caffey, and one child who preceded him in death.
Years later he met and married the late Mary Lou Cooper and to this union four sons were born.
Charlie (Dee) will be best remembered as a joyful, happy, person. He never met strangers, everybody was " my friend."
He departed this life Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Brookwood Shelby Baptist Medical Center.
He leaves to cherish his memories: Ten children: Jacquelyn Booker, Louise Gordon, Leon seals, Philip Seals, Charlie, Antonio, Maurice, Charles, Shawnee Cooper and Patricia White. Three Sisters: Catherine Williams, Corene Cooper and Mary Elizabeth Vernerall of Montgomery, AL. Two brothers: John (Evelyn) Cooper and George Cooper all of Montgomery, AL. Nineteen grandchildren; Eighteen great grandchildren; and Three great-great grandchildren, a special niece: Emma Cooper, other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Oct. 24, @ 12:00 Noon at Liberty Cemetery in Elliottsville, AL. Evangelist Jacquelyn Booker – Officiating.
