Sis.Clara Oden

was born in Wilsonville, Alabama on January 27, 1935, to the late Beulah Mae Oden.

Clara attended Shelby County Training School.

She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Star Bethlehem Baptist Church. She later resided at First Missionary Baptist Church of Wilsonville.

She is preceded in death by her brother, William Oden.

Sis. Clara departed this life on March 25, 2018 at her home in Wilsonville, AL.

She leaves to cherish her memories, four daughters: Elsie Watts of Anniston, Alabama, Deborah Ferguson (Brian) of Denver, Colorado, Clara Denise Oden of San Francisco, California, Benita Robinson of Wilsonville, Alabama; four exceptional grandchildren: Kalnika Oden and Tiffany Oden both of Anniston, Alabama, Tristan Robinson and Jasmine Robinson (Dana) both of Wilsonville, AL; three wonderful great-grandchildren: Ty'ler Allen, Andarius Oden, Aaliyah Oden; and her crew: the Cohills, the Studimires, the Millenders, Debra Chapman and a host of other relatives and friends who shall truly miss her.

​ A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 31 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Wilsonville with burial at Wilsonville Community Cemetery. Rev. Larry Pickett Officiating.
