Mrs. Clementine Norwood McGinnis was born December 4, 1953, to the late ParLee Norwood & the late Lawrence Adams.

She accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of Firstborn Church in Calcis. She became a faithful servant at Freewill Church of God in Christ, Harpersville, AL. Later she became a faithful servant at Evangel Temple Deliverance Center, Vincent, AL.

Mrs. Clementine departed this life to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 5:45 A.M. at her home.

She was a retired social worker. She received an executive secretarial diploma from Alverson - Draughon College, her Bachelors of Science Degree in Management of Human Resources from Faulkner University & her Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Alabama. Her passion was family, cooking & traveling. Her famous saying was, "All is Well" & "Done Deal". She was married to the late, Terrell McGinnis for 16 years.

Left to cherish her memories are: two sons, Terrell (Kaneesha) McGinnis, Columbiana, AL, Derrick (Barbara) McGinnis, Childersburg, AL; two brothers, Elder Jim C. Norwood, Vincent, AL, Jerry (Sheree) Norwood, Harpersville, AL; one sister, Fannie Tate, Mobile, AL; three sisters in law, Daisy Turner, Helena, AL, Peggy (Ernie) Whetstone, Sylacauga, AL, Meder Jean McGinnis, Montgomery, AL; four grandkids, Thaddeus McGinnis,Lyris McGinnis, Derrick Jr. McGinnis, Jace McGinnis; a godson, Michael Jones, Birmingham, AL; also among us a host of other relatives & friends. Two special friends, Beverly Meadows & Linda Borden.

Viewing will be held Monday, May 13, 2024, from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. at The Good Shepherd.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Evangel Temple Deliverance Center – Vincent, AL with Interment at Harpursville Cemetery.
