Damon Lamont McKitchen was born to the late Linda McKitchen Hill & Rubard Price on February 14, 1977.

He was educated in the Bibb County & Autauga County School Systems.

He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Damon departed this life on October 4, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents & two sisters, April McKitchen & Victoria Price.

Damon leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Latisha Speer (Barion McCants Sr.),  Denita Speer of Birmingham, AL; six grandkids, Neveah, Laziya, Alexis, Jamari, Jacarrian, Barion Jr.; seven sisters,

Wilsie Johnson, Demetra (Derrick) McKitchen-Burns,  Shawnita McKitchen, all of Alabaster, AL, Crystal McKitchen of Calera, AL,  Natasha McKitchen, Lakeisha  McKitchen of Montgomery, AL, Debra Rosschile - Johnson of Prattville, AL; four brothers, Curtis McKitchen of Alabaster, AL, Truth Price (Jolanda) of Atlanta, GA, Jeffery (Sandra) Rosschile of Prattville, AL, Rufus (Tara) Rosschile of Hoover, AL; a host of uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends who will truly miss him.

Viewing will be held Friday, October 13, 2023, from 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. at The Good Shepherd.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 1:00 Noon at New Mt. Mariah Baptist Church in Calera, AL with burial at Ebenezer Cemetery in Brierfield.
