David Calvin Moore was born on August 2, 1943, to the late Selina Moore and Willie Harris in Alabaster, Alabama. He was the oldest of four siblings; two preceded him in death (Marvell and Dellman). He attended Prentice High School. David Moore married Margaret Ann Crooks on August 5, 1978, and from this union 3 children were born.

Professionally, David devoted 35 years to Glidwell Specialty Foundry.

Cherishing precious memories, he leaves: a loving wife, Margaret Ann Moore of Alabaster, AL; three sons, David Moore Jr. and Willie Lee Moore of Ohio, Warren Franks of Mobile, AL; three daughters, Christel “Shaun” Thomas of Birmingham, AL, Tiffany (Maurice) Moore of Montevallo, AL, Vanessa (Michael) Doane of Clanton, AL: seven grandchildren, Trevion, Teyionna, Nakaya (Micheal), Devin, Amaiyah, Jayden, Maleah; two great grandchildren, Malakhi and Josiah; one sister Selina (Ronnie) Barnett; nieces; nephews; special friends, Dellis Williams, Cooper Family, Burns Family, Thomas Family, Darden Family, and a list of others.....
