David Lee Sheppard was born on February 14, 1969, to the late Josephine Johnson and the late Willie James Billingsley.

David joined Mount Tabor Baptist Church at an early age. He departed this life on May 16,2024 at Bibb Medical Center in Centreville, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his mother (Josephine Johnson), father (Willie Billingsley) and sister (Gaynelle Harvey).

David leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Angeline Sheppard of Petersburg, VA; two sons, Aldrich Armand Sheppard of Bloomfield, NJ and David Dequan Sheppard of Petersburg, VA; three sisters , Pamela Moore (Moses) of Brent, AL, Sheryl Moore (Willie) of Brent, AL and Glenda Harris of Benton Harbor, MI; five brothers, Roger Sheppard (Jaqualine) of Centreville AL, Willie James Sheppard (Diane) of Brent, AL, Lecurtis Sheppard of Brent, AL, Ronnie Bailey of Mauldin, SC and Willie Derricott of Akron, OH; A special cousin who was like a brother, Bishop Rodney Sheppard (Lula) of Brent, AL; seven aunts, Glenese Richardson (Maurice) of Indianapolis, IN, Beverly Billingsley of Fort Wayne, IN, Shirley Hernton of Indianapolis, IN, Valerie Sutton (Earl) of Big Ridgeport, CT; Betty Ann Underwood of Brent, AL, a special aunt, Mary Leverette of Brent, AL and a special aunt who was like a mother, Minister Mary Nixon of Brent, AL; two uncles, Frankie Billingsley (Nancy) of Fort Wayne, IN and Jerry Sheppard of Brent, AL. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends that will miss him dearly.

Viewing will be eld Friday, May 24, 2024, from 4:00 P.M. - :00 P.M. at The Good Shepherd.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Word of Faith Worship Center, Centreville, AL
