Doris Nell Maddox Cunningham, known as Nanny, has completed her earthly journey and answered God's call.

She was born December 16, 1941, in Shelby, Alabama to Vertus Lee and Paris Pauline Maddox.

She married John Edward Cunningham on 08/14/1968.

She was preceded in death by: her parents and her brothers, Willie Jean Lee, Daniel Maddox, Leroy Maddox, and Leon Maddox.

She leaves to cherish her memories: sisters, Martha (Bill) Brantley, Dorothy (Clarence) Harris; sister in law, Olivia Maddox; her five children, Doris R. Blevins, Traci (Antonio) Melton, Trina (Sam Carter, Kelly Cunningham, John E.

Cunningham; two bonus daughters, Phyllis (Larry) Dukes and Andrea Daniels.

Her legacy continues through her 15 grandchildren, Sade Jackson, Blevins, Rico Blevins, Adriana Copeland, Tyler Cunningham, Tiffany Cunningham, Joshua Watson, Kamron Cunningham, Channing Cunningham, Tadarion Cunningham, Antwain Cunningham, Katelin Alexander, Andre Conwell, Adrian Conwell and 21 great grandchildren.

She is lovingly remembered by a special niece Tia Edwards, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever remember the legacy and Nanny.
