Obituary

Dorothy L. Youngblood

was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. David and Jannie Griffin on December 29, 1935 in Calhoun, County, Alabama.

She became a member of the Liberty Baptist Church, Alabaster, AL.

In her later years, she confessed Jesus as her Savior.

She was united in holy matrimony on September 28 ^th , 1962 to Lester Youngblood.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Jannie Griffin and one brother, Luther "Bud" Griffin

She departed this life on Jan. 2, 2019.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving husband, Lester Youngblood; three sisters, Lois Singleterry (Carl), Jemison, AL, Betty Bishop, Alabaster, AL and Arlene Griffin, Corona, New York; two brothers, Lloyd Griffin (Maggie),  and Ermon Griffin both of Alabaster, AL. a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, Jan. 11, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at The Good Shepherd Chapel with burial at First Baptist Cemetery in Calera.
