Bro. Earnest Worthe y was born February 17, 1951, to the late Dallas & Clara Worthey.
He confessed Christ at an early age and joined Ebenezer Baptist Church in Brierfield, AL, He later joined Green Chapel Baptist Church in Montevallo, AL until death.
Earnest graduated from Bibb County High School in 1970. He retired from Chemical Lime after 41 years. He owned his own business and helped many families until his health started to decline.
Earnest & Callie were foster parents for over 35 Years.
He departed this life peacefully at home on Sunday, January 14, 2024. Earnest was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Courtney Worthey; brothers, Ed & William Worthey; sister, Nellie Boone; & nephew, Daryl Worthey.

Viewing will be held Friday, January 19, 2024, from 4:00 P.M. -6:00 P.M. at The Good Shepherd.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024, at 12:00 Noon at
Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Wilton, AL with interment at Montevallo City Cemetery.
