Sister Eddie Lee Garner , was born on April 18, 1941 to the parentage of the late James and Mary Garner in Randolph County, Alabama.

She relocated to Montevallo, AL in 1960, where she became a faithful member of Green Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.  Eddie Lee had loved and respect for God which was a great part of her legacy:  To believe unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation, for the scripture says "whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame."  Romans 10:9-11 Eddie Lee remained faithful until the Lord called her home.

She was preceded in death by her sister: Ossie Mae Garner; her brother: Shepherd Garner her grandson: Corey Walker and two nephews: Roy and Robert Garner.

She departed this life on November 23, 2017.

She leaves to continue her celebration, one son: Wade Garner, Montevallo, AL; one brother: Robert Lewis Garner, Mobile, AL; One great grandson: Jeremiah Walker,  one great granddaughter: Cormari Walker two nieces: Jacqueline Garner, Mobile, AL; Feleeece (Terry) Williams Virginia, other relatives and friends who shall miss her dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at The Good Shepherd Chapel with burial at Montevallo City Cemetery.
