Obituary

Frank Daniel People was born January 18, 1956, in Bibb County, Alabama to the late Sailor People and Annie Laura Young. He accepted Christ in his life at an early age and joined Waymon Chapel AME Church. He made his transition to his heavenly home early on the morning of January 7, 2022 at his home.

He was preceded in death by his first devoted wife, Francis Chapple; son, James Chapple; four sisters and four brothers.

He leaves to treasure his memories: his wife, Jackie People; a loving and devoted daughter, Demetra (Michael) James; two granddaughter, Francenia James and Michiya James; two great grandsons, MaLikye James and Mickah James, all of West Blocton, AL; five step children; a step mother, Pastor Mary People; three sisters: Linnie M. Young of Briefield, AL, Elder Gloria (Leroy) Goode of Anticoch, AL, Mariam (Reginald) Mays of Hoover, AL; three step sisters: Tammy Jones, Lisa Jones, and Glenda Young; two brothers, Pastor Roy (Estella) People of Montevallo, AL and Rev. James (LaBrandy) People of Briefield, AL; one step brother, Robert Bryant; a devoted caregiver, John Bolden; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives

Viewing will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 from 4:00- 6:00 P.M. at The Good Shepherd.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Jan. 15 at 12:00 Noon at Pleasant Sabine Baptist Church. .
