George Green was born to the parentage of the late Will Green and Annie Green on Friday, February 28, 1930 in Bullock, County, Alabama.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Marie Pearson Green and to this union nine children were born, of which three preceded him in death.

George departed this life on Thursday September 3, 2020 at the home of his son in Brierfield, AL.

He leaves to cherish his memories Four daughters, Ms. Annette Green of Brierfield, AL, Ms. Cynthia Moore and Ms. Yvonne Silas both of Montevallo, AL and Dora (Leon ) Clayton of Brierfield, AL. Two Sons, Mr. Lee James Melton, Sr. of Brierfield, AL and Mr. Douglas Green of Brierfield, AL. Nineteen grandchildren, Nine great grandchildren, Five great great grandchildren and a host of nieces , nephews, relatives and friends who will remember him always

A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at Ebenezer Cemetery in Brierfield, AL Elder Rance Gaddis Officiating
