Hattie Mae Williams was born April, 20, 1934, to A.C. and Lucinda Craig, in Dallas County, Alabama.
She grew up in Marion, AL where she met and married Jimmy Williams. To this union six children were born. Four sons have preceded her in death, and also her husband.
She is survived by two daughters Rosetta of Calera, AL and Rebecca of Eastpointe, MI. Hattie Mae Williams was a woman of faith and believer in Jesus Christ our Lord. She joined Mount Olive Baptist Church and gave her life to Christ.
She often spoke her mind but did so in a loving way. Her favorite saying was "I know that's right". Being in her presence was like a breath of fresh air.
All of her siblings have preceded her in death, except for one sister, Stella Scott of California.
She leaves to mourn her passing, two daughters, Rebecca (Gregory) and Rosetta (Larry); one sister, Stella Scott, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great- grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Rest well our Beautiful Queen. We Love You
Viewing will be held Friday, May 26, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at The Good Shepherd.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday May 27, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Gay Reed Cemetery in Jasper, AL .
