James L. Adams was born on October 1, 1948 in Pelham, AL to Willie Sr. & Francis Adams (both deceased). He entered rest on March 21, 2025, at his home in Pelham, AL. He was preceded in death by the following family members: James L. Adams, Jr. (son), Gary Ryan (son), Willie Adams, Jr., Eugene Adams, Sr., Samuel Adams, Sr., Earnestine Burnes & Dorothy Morris. James confessed his life to Christ at an early age and later in life he joined Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. He graduated from Prentice High School in Montevallo, AL. He retired from Carmeuse Lime Plant. James leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Junnie Adams; two daughters, Michelle Adams and Latoya (Johnny) Brown; Sister, Geraldine Manigault; Two Brothers, Richard Adams & Askew Adams Sr.; Nine grandchildren, Corey Walker, Wendy Adams, James L. Adams III, Tiffani Mayes, Brandon Walker, Malek Adams, Jarvis Gaiters, Daveon "Nikki" Cathey & Clinton Jai Xavier Ryan; Two great-grandchildren, Journiee Pugh & Chase Walker.
