Johnny Ray Ross was born on March 5, 1963, to the late Johnnie Bell and Willie Ross II. He received his education from the Bibb County School System and accepted Christ at an early age. Johnny valued his family deeply and brought joy to those around him, recognized for his love of dancing and his ability to create a joyful atmosphere.

He was preceded in death by: his long-time companion of 27 years, Sarah Mae Martin; his brothers, Willie Ross Jr. III , Nathaniel Ross; his sisters, Susie Kay Ross, Betty Jean Ross; stepsisters, Rita Agee-Abercrombie, Michelle Agee-Stacy; as well as his sister-in-law, Pattie Ann Stacy Ross.

Johnny is survived by: his stepdaughter, Dianne Jackson; three step - granddaughters, Sarah Jackson, Shalonndra Jackson, Jerimesha Jackson; brother, Robert Ross Sr., Ricky (Jean) Ross, Robert Earl Ross, Tony Ross, Christopher Ross, TerranceRoss; step brother, Andre Agee; sisters, Angela (Danny) Ross; stepsister, Fran Agee-Cottingham. Additionally, he is remembered fondly by three aunts, Francis Campbell, Carrie Campbell, Isabella Campbell; one sister-in-law, Lillie Mae Ross and his stepmother, Bobbie Ross. Johnny will be lovingly remembered by: a multitude of step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will greatly miss him.  The Good Shepherd Funeral Home Directing.
