Larry Cohill
was the 4th child born to Albert and Larrenior (Kate) Cohill on Tuesday November 2nd 1948 in Wilsonville AL.
Larry proceeds in death with his parents Albert and Larrenior(Kate) Cohill, brother Donald Cohill, sister Marylin Cohill Wood, and a beautiful daughter LaTanja Cohill. He Confessed to Christ at an early age and joined Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Larry entered in the United Stated Army May of 1969. He served in the Vietnam War in 1972 to 1973 with the 180th Aviation Company. Larry earned an Air Medal for flying combat missions. He also served in the Persian Gulf War as First Sergeant For B( Advanced attack helicopter) Company. 1st Aviation Battalion and 1st Armor Division and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. Larry also served in Desert Storm(1991 to 1992) after Desert Storm he retired form the United State Army on September 1st, 1992 serving 23 Years. He then went back to school earning his BSW from the University of Montevallo (1996). Pursued a Master Degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama Graduated in May 1997 with a License Master Level Social worker. He then was employed at Mount Meigs, moving on to the VA Center in Birmingham AL, and opening is own VA Center in Montgomery AL, and helping with the Opening of the VA Center in Columbus GA. He retired form the hard work of being a amazing social work and became a Wilsonville Town Concil Member. While finding time to write and publish his book ( You Do Not Have To Take The Long Way Home) .
Larry Leaves To Cherish his Memory: A hard working loving wife of 34 years Annetta Cohill. 3 Children LaTanja Cohill (RIH) Larry Tyrone Cohill, Michelle Cohill. Brothers: Edward (Marry Jo), Lorenzo (Mamie), Alvin (Alma), William (Dorthy) Cohill all of Wilsonville AL.
Grand Children: Damon Cohill, Martez Cohill, Mariah Nobles, Layla Green Joseph Green, Mason King.
Great Grand Children: Amonee Cohill, Bryceen Cohill, and Cade Forbes

Viewing will be held Friday, April 17 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at The Good Shepherd Funeral Home.
A Private Graveside Service will be held Saturday, April 18 at 12:00 Noon at Wilsonville Community Cemetery.
