Obituary

Lorenzo Darnez Oden was born to the parentage of Gussie Darlene Oden and the late Robin DeMoss on August 8, 1987 in Shelby County, AL.

He confessed his life to Christ at an early age, under the leadership of Elder Jimmy Underwood.

He graduated from Thompson High School in 2007.

Lorenzo was always known for dribbling a ball. He was also known for doing his music thing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robin DeMoss.

Lorenzo departed this life on June 12, 2018.  He leaves to mourn his passing: a beautiful and loving daughter, Lauren Dominique Oden; a goddaughter, Javona Jones;  a loving mother, Gussie Darlene Oden, Birmingham, AL; a loving brother, Robin (Niketa) Oden, Phonix City, AL; a loving sister, Kayla Oden, Birmingham, AL; his nephew, Aldarius Oden; loving grandparents, Bosie (Willie Ann) Oden, Alabaster, AL; two special aunts, Catherine (Larry) Calhoun and Latesha Oden, Alabaster, AL;  a special uncle, Dennis Oden, Birmingham, AL; a loyal and special friend, Eric "EDubb" Jones; a host of other uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who shall miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday June 22, 2018 at 1;00 p.m. at Faith Dimension Church in Maylene with burial at Longview Cemetery in Saginaw. Bishop Rodney Brown Officiating.
