Obituary Ludie Mae Head was born November 10, 1925, to George and Lille Sawyer Sutton. She confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She later met the love of her life Mr. Marvin Head and they got married in 1946 and was married until God called him in August 2001; and to that union came seven children. Ludie Mae was employed by Oliver and Ann Head and Shelby County Board of Education. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Lillie Sutton three sisters Anna Reed, Ida Sutton and Maggie Lee Sutton, nine brothers George Sutton Jr Herman Sutton, Reverend Solomon Sutton, Herbert Sutton, Mose Sutton, Jack Sutton, Richard Sutton (Dick) Dock Sutton and Dave Sutton. One Son Marvin Head Jr. two daughters Lillian Peterson and Maxine Head. She departed her earthly life on March 18, 2022, in her home. Viewing will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022, from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. at The Good Shepherd. A Celebration will be held Sunday, March 27, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at Macedonia Baptist Church in Columbiana with burial at Columbiana Cemetery. Rev. Richard Kidd – Officiating.
