Magdaleine Gaynell Tyes Durham was born March 28, 1977, to the late, Ronald and Deloies Tyes in Alabaster, AL. She was educated in the Shelby County School System and graduated from Calera High School with the class of 1997. Magdaleine accepted Christ at an early age. She was united in holy Matrimony to Timmy Durham on June 3, 1997. Magdaleine was preceded in death by her mother, Deloies Tyes; father, Ronald Tyes; a nephew, Aaron Tyes; and a brother-in-law, Matthew Durham. Magdaleine departed this life on December 22, 2022 at her home surrounded by family. She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Timmy Durham of Birmingham, AL; three children, Shikeith Tyes of Montevallo, AL, Quamayne Tyes (Christine), Jayda Tyes (CJ) both of Birmingham, AL; a stepson, Kameron Johnson ofBirmingham, AL; four sisters, Regina Tie (Tommy) of Montevallo, AL, Rosallen Tyes, Alexandrea Tyes, Erica Tyes all of Calera, AL; two brothers, Ronald Tyes Jr. of Calera, AL, Eric Tyes (Kebonie) of Birmingham, AL; one grandchild, Amaya Tyes; special nephew, Ethan Tyes; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends who shall miss her. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, January 5, 2023, at The Good Shepherd Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M.
