Obituary

Marlin Hale

was born to the parentage of the late Cecil Dowdell and Mary Dowdell on November, 11, 1974.

He confessed Christ at an early age and united with Freewill Missionary Baptist Church.  He attended Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his father Mr. Cecil Dowdell, his grandparents, Charles and Rosie Lee Hale; and Monroe and Ea Dowdell.

Marlin departed this life on August 12, 2018 at Brookwood Baptist Shelby Hospital in Alabaster, Alabama.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His mother, Mary Alice Dowdell; three brothers, Cecil Ray Dowdell, Terry Dowdell both of Alabaster Alabama and Terence Ale, Jr.; two sisters, Elaine (Charles) Moore and Latisha Hale of Calera, AL; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins who shall miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2018 at 11:00A.M. at The Good Shepherd Chapel in Montevallo with burial at Galilee Cemetery in Saginaw. Apostle Calvin J. Meadows - Eulogist
