Marva Dee Smith was born on August 1, 1948 to the late Annie Laura Hudson Smith and Mose Lamar.

She confessed Christ at an early age and gave her life to the Lord.

She attended Prentice High School.  Later she was employed by the University of Montevallo for over twenty years.

Marva Dee was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Rosco Hudson and Paul Hudson.

She depated this life on Monday, April 22, 2019 at Brookwood Medical center in Birmingham, AL.

Marva Dee leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Becky Hudson and Veronica Hudson; two grandchildren, Keldric (shaneka) Hudson, Corey Hudson; four great- grandchildren, Devin, Devon, Kyah, Jyniria; five sisters, Ida Mae Bolling, Nadine Hudson, Nettie Morrow, Vivian (Fletcher) Lilly and Elnora Rhine; one brother, George Hudson; and a host of caring nieces, nephews and friends whom she loved  dearly .

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at The Good Shepherd Chapel with burial at Montevallo Cemetery. Elder Robert Hudson Officiating.
