Mother Alma Jones Hannah was born June 30, 1923 to the late Jack Jones and Lillian Jones of Perry County, AL.
She accepted Christ at an early age. Later in her life, she joined Present-Truth Tabernacle Church under the leadership of Apostle Calvin J. Meadows. She was a member of the Mothers Board and an active member of the church.
She is preceded in death by her devoted husband: Johnny Hannah, Sr. her son: Timothy Hannah; one sister: Maggie Lee Jones; four brothers: Arron Jones, Henry Jones, Eugene Jones and Silas Jones.
She departed this life on February 18, 2018 at Bibb Medical Center in Centreville, AL.
She leaves to cherish her memories; Four loving sons: Albert (Shirley) Hannah, Fort Wayne, IN; Johnny (Janice) Hannah, Jr. of Fort Wayne, IN, Herman (Felecia) Hannah of Montevallo, AL, Andrew Hannah of Centreville, AL. Six loving daughters: Lula (Gene) Rutledge of Centreville, AL, Martha Jackson, Liza (Aaron) Perry, Sursha Dee Stark all of Fort Wayne, IN, Marie (John) Hope of Centreville, AL, Josephine Hannah of Centreville, AL, one devoted sister: Josephine Stewart of Centreville, AL, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who shall miss her dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Feb. 24 at 11:00 a.m. at New Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Brent with Cooper Cemetery in Centreville, AL as the Final resting Place. Apostle Calvin J. Meadows Officiating.
