Omie Cleve Johnson Jr. was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Omie C. and Willie Mae (Cohill) Johnson. He was born on September 28, 1971 at Shelby County Hospital in Alabaster, AL. Early in life he confessed Christ and joined Mountain Missionary Baptist Church as a small child. He attended Calera School Systems. He was a longtime manager at Wendy's.

He was a loving father of two wondering children young men; Stephun Johnson and young women; Nef Spence. He cherished them in a special way.

Almighty God in His divine majesty called his son Omie, to enternal rest on Friday, August 20th, 2021. He leaves on earth to cherish his memories: His one son Stephun (Shankerria) Johnson. His one daughter Nef Spence and their mother Jacqueline Moore. His three Grandsons: Adon Pharris, Noah Spence, and Dashawn Johnson. His two brothers: Calvin (Tionne) Cohill, and Mark Johnson from Calera, AL. He loved his nephews: Krys Johnson, Kam Johnson, Kerin Johnson.   Omie will be deeply missed by his Nephews, Nieces, Aunties, Uncles, Cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his late parents, Omie C. and Willie Mae Johnson as well as His late sisters Melissa Yvonne Johnson and Millicent Dione Johnson.

Omie was an avid fan of Auburn Football team and loved his family and friends dearly. His favorite color was orange and blue.
