Pastor Ruthie Lee Hudson affectionately known as Mother Hudson passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the home of her daughter in Mt. Juliet, TN.   She was born in Bibb County, Alabama on January, 1, 1915, to the union of Wilson Williams and Prude Rutledge Williams.

Ruthie Lee Hudson received her Pastoral License on August 19, 2001.  She was the Pastor of Jesus Temple Church of Deliverance in Aldrich, AL.

Preceding her in death were her husband: Joe Simon Hudson and four children: Joella Gilmore, Samuel Hudson, Annie Goode and John Hudson.

Ruthie is survived by four sons: Marshall Smith, Joel Hudson, Robert (Tina) Hudson, Emmett (Elizabeth) Chappell; Sr.; one daughter: Carrie (Alan) Hayes, a host of grandchildren,  great-grandchildren,  great-great grandchildren and other relatives and friends who shall miss her dearly.

A service of celebration will be held Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at faith temple Deliverance Temple Church in Montevallo with burial at Montevallo Cemetery.

He's my rooftop thru the rain and storm.  He's my protector can never do me no harm.  He's my bread that set on my table.  My God can do this He is surely able.  I am going to trust and serve Him, serve my Jesus, serve Him now, He is worthy to be praised.

He's my mountaintop when I was down in the valley.  He's my road to Damas when I was living in sin in the alley.  He's my Good, Good Shepherd watching over me, and I'm going to serve him, serve my Jesus and serve Him now.  He's worthy to be praised.
