Mrs. Queen Ester Speigner
was born April 10, 1924 in Plantersville, Alabama to the late Spurgeon and Zuella Waters.
Preceding her in death were six brothers, Joseph, James, John, Percy, Columbus, Spurgeon Jr. and one sister Bernice Mitchell.
Mrs. Speigner obeyed the Gospel in the late '50's under the leadership of Bro. John Henry Clay of Pasadena, California.
In her early twenties she met and married James Speigner, Jr. To this union they were blessed with one daughter.
She was self-employed with several citizens in the Clanton area where she worked until her retirement in 2010.
Mrs. Speigner enjoyed life to the fullest working in her yard and spending time with her grandchildren and great grands.
She leaves to cherish her memories: one loving and devoted daughter Queenie Speigner Vianen, five grandchildren, Rodney Speigner Montgomery, AL, LaDonna Childress (Harold) Alexander City, AL, Sonya Kennedy (Terrance) Clanton, AL, Seneca Kinsey (Talia) Atlanta, GA and Romyn McCoy Jr. Clanton, AL, six great grandchildren LaQueen, Romyn Sr, Cassie, Skylar, Saronya and Seneca II, three great great grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Ethel Hutchins, one special and devoted niece, Marion Mitchell and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 1;00 P.M. At West Wed Church of Christ 301 11th Street South Clanton, AL 35045. Bro. Grag DeJarnett - Officiating
