Raya Rhaenyra Rodgers was born on November 9, 2022 to her parents, Kadijah Christian & Eugene Rodgers, in Birmingham, AL.

Raya was a beautiful & happy baby. Her smile would melt your heart and light up a room. She was called home by God on April 12, 2023, at Children's Hospital in Birmingham, AL.

Raya was preceded in death by her grandmother, Kamala Moore.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her loving parents, Kadijah Christian & Eugene Rodgers; siblings; Akarria Rodgers, Eugene Rodgers Jr., & Daijah Rodgers; grandparents, Laketra Rodgers, Eugene Nichols, & Reginald Christian (Florance); great grandmothers, Louvern Norwood (Doug) & Annie Harris (Dynell); great grandfather, Paul McKenzie, great great grandmother, Betty Gentry; great great great grandmother, Georgia Mckenzie; aunts, Adrian Moore & Tandreka Rodgers uncles, Markes Rodgers, Keterian Carter, & Jason Pickett; and a host of family & friends.

Viewing will be held Thursday, April 20, 2023, from 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. at The Good Sheperd.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, April 21, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at The Good Shepherd with burial at Montevallo Cemetery.
