Judy Devould was born on April 1, 1957, to the late Joseph and Gussie Atchison.

She departed this life on August 9, 2026.

Judy was a graduate of Jemison High School, where she developed an appreciation for horticulture and the beauty of nature. She studied horticulture, carrying that love and knowledge throughout her life.

At an early age, Judy accepted Christ and became a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Jemison, Alabama. Later, she joined Present Truth Tabernacle under the pastorate of the late Pastor Calvin J. Meadows, where she remained a faithful member until her passing.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Joel Lee and Henry Atchison, and her beloved parents, Joseph and Gussie Atchison.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Antonio Devould; her children, Quentin Eddins, Otis (Stephanie) Eddins, Derrick Eddins, Matthew Eddins; her grandchildren, Jayland McCall, Chloe Eddins, Breontae Prude; and her great-grandchild, Bry'erre Prude. Judy will also be lovingly remembered by her siblings: Joe Lawrence Atchison, Arnita (Nathaniel) Motley, Cynthia (Johnnie) Bell, Charolette (Lee) Patterson, Jerry Atchison, James Atchison, and Barbara Atchison; her sisters-in-law, Jeanette Atchison and Earlethia Atchison; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Judy cherished her family and leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through generations.

Judy's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her life was a testament to faith, family, love, and perseverance. Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave and the memories she created will live on through her children, grandchildren, great- grandchild, family, and friends.
