Reverend Ronnie Lamar Hamilton age 67 was born Thursday, December 25, 1952 to the late Joe and Gracie Hamilton in Vincent, AL.
He was preceded in death by parents, Joe and Gracie Hamilton; brothers, Joe W. Hamilton, Dennis Hamilton, Andre Hamilton, and Billy McGraw; sisters, Janice Hamilton and Faye McKenzie: one grandson, Terrence Boone
He was a graduate of Vincent High School, class of 1971. He continued his education obtaining advanced biblical certifications and degrees. He was a disabled veteran. He was employed for a short tenure by The City of Vincent and Shelby County School System.
He was a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel for over 47 years serving in several different capacities, including: Pastor, Associate Pastor, and Interim Pastor at various local ministries. He was a member of Evangel Temple Deliverance Center, Vincent, AL
He was a member of the Masonic Brotherhood, Anchor Lodge #821, Vincent, AL
He lived, He laughed, and He loved. He never met a stranger .

He leaves to cherish his memories, one son, Antonio Datcher, Silas, AL; three daughters, Deidra Hamilton Atlanta, GA, Starla Jones Harpersville, AL, Ronnetta "Shaun" Hamilton Vincent AL; four brothers, Earnest "Terry," (Cherry) Hamilton, Pell City, AL, John "Tony" Hamilton, Jimmy "Dale", (Michelle) Hamilton, and Jackie Hamilton, Harpersville, AL; one sister-in-law, Waynetta McGraw, Jacksonville, FL; four aunts, Catherine Davis, Detroit, Michigan, Joanne Posey, Dorothy Hardy, and Stella Hardy, Vincent, AL;one Uncle, James "Jay" Hardy, Vincent, AL; one goddaughter, Jennifer Jordan; nine grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; one special cousin, Cynthia Melton Lee, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at Rising Star Baptist Church 319 West Park Street in Sylacauga, AL 35150. Pastor, Emmanuel Smith, III – Pastor Bishop Lodis McGregor, Sr. – Eulogist. Interment at - Coosa Valley Baptist Church Cemetery, Vincent, AL
Viewing will be held in two locations- Friday Dec. 11, 2020 at The Good Shepherd Funeral Home 150 White St. Montevallo, AL from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. and also on Saturday December 12, at Rising Star Baptist Church in Sylacauga from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 noon at which time the Celebration of Life will begin. Masks are required and social distance will be adhered to.
