Sis Sadie Mae Mickens Ledlow was born on May 21, 1952 to Fannie Mae Moore and Lance Mickens both preceded her in death.

She confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Ebenezer Baptist Church where she served until her death.

She was a proud member of the Bibb County High School Class of 1971.

Later in life she was joined in Holy Matrimony to Mr. William Charles Ledlow on March 2, 1974.

Three brothers William, Willie Silas and Willie James and one Sister Barbara preceded her in death.

She departed this life on May 2, 2021 at Shelby Baptist Hospital.

She leaves to mourn her passing  a loving husband of 47 years Mr. William Charles Ledlow.

Four loving brothers Ervin Mickens (Nancy) of Calera Alabama, Melvin, Jerome (Jo Ann) and David (Debbie) Mickens all of Brierfield Alabama.

Four living sister-in-laws  Alma Mickens and Verlena Ledlow of Brierfield Alabama. Donna (David) Haggard of Montevallo Alabama and Vivian Mickens of  Chesapeake Virginia. One brother-in-law Rickey (Valerie) Ledlow of Montevallo Alabama.

Four  God daughters: Jamishia Ledlow and Canerta Moore of Montevallo Alabama. Summer and Essence Brown of Centreville Alabama.

A host of beautiful and loving nieces whom she loved very much and will cherish the time they spent with her. And a host of Nephews, cousins, friends and church members that will truly miss her. Two special friends: Mary Bell Wilkerson and Tim Brown of Centreville Alabama.

Viewing will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. at The Good Shepherd.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Ashby Baptist Church in Brierfield, AL       with burial at Ebenezer Cemetery in Brierfield.
