Sylvia Bailey Spriggs entered into eternal life on Tuesday, December 22, 2020,at the age of 60.  Sylvia is survived by her mother Joyce Webster, dear children, Joan Marie Henderson (Willie), John Edward Spriggs, Jr., Chantal Mack (Curtis), and Jonaton Spriggs; her lovely granddaughters, Jore'alle, Jade, and Jaiden Henderson, Jaylin and Olivia Spriggsand Harley Mack, God-granddaughterKei'Arra Netter, grandsons, Jore'anand William Henderson and Kurtis Mack; two sons-in-law, WillieJorean Henderson and Curtis Mack; sisters, Paulette Maurice (Fergus), Luecherisha Felton (Derrick), Rosalyn King (Charles), Lynelle Rosebud (Earl), Linda Williams and Kaitlyn Sherman ; one brother, Spencer Bailey (Mary); Mother-in-law, Mary Lee Spriggs, brothers-in-law, Glen Spriggs (late Patricia) and Fergus Maurice, sisters-in-law, Lorraine and Lean Audrey Smith, and ShannonSanders (Negarian); God-children, Grayona and AnitraBailey, Latoya Dezara, Triantie(Sweat Pea)Wilson, and Larry Banks; her God-mother, Carol Nelson and her loving and devoted friends Darrell and Wylita Wilson, Caprice "Rose" Smith, Linda Walker,Charlotte Ward,and Mrs. WillieMae Bray. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband John Edward Spriggs, Sr., grandparents, James and Beatrice Bailey, father, Leroy Williams, Sr.;step-father, Jerry Webster; father-in-law, Leon Spriggs, her step-mother, Carolyn Williams,grandson Curtez Mack, sister Patricia Bailey-Spriggsand brothers, Leroy, Jr. and Leon Williams, and God-father, Frankie Bailey.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. on The Grounds of The Good Shepherd Funeral Home with burial at Montevallo Cemetery. Viewing will be held Friday, Jan. 1, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Minister Yakinea Marie Duff – Officiating.
