Tamekia Bray was born on December 21, 1976 to Maggie Bray Kersh and Late Allen Kersh Jr, in Centreville, Alabama.

At an early age she joined Rising Star Baptist Church.

Tamekia graduated from Bibb County High in 1995. She started work at AGC Automotive Americas in Alabaster, AL; 2012 she started work at Inoac Interior System as a Supervisor, Bessemer, AL for about 8 years, and Maclellan Integrated Services in Vance, AL.

Tamekia was preceded in death by her beloved father, Late Allen Kersh Jr. grandparents Ada Bray Jones, Ray Bray Sr, Theo Jones, Bertha Mae Conwell and Allen Kersh Sr. Aunts, Rosie Kersh and Anita Presley. Uncle Frankie Bray and one great uncle, four great aunts and three cousins.

She leaves to cherish her memories; her loving sons: Fredrick Anderson and Javoris Kidd, daughter: Savannah (Tredonte) Anderson-Wilson of Tuscaloosa, AL. Grandkids: Taylor Wilson, Kya Cardwell, Noah Hill, Unique Hill, Ny'Ausha Anderson, and Ty'Kerrius Anderson...special kind of sisters: Carolyn Steele and Latitia Bray. A devoted mother/step-dad: Maggie (Charles) Kersh-Watters of Plantersville, AL. Siblings: sisters Ashle Kersh and Loretta Stacy of Centreville, AL, Sakeya Williams of Marion, AL; brothers, Maurice (LaSheena) Ducker of Brighton, AL and Valentino (Kendra) Ducker of Centreville, AL. Nick Kelly and Mario Ducker of West Blocton, AL. Nine aunts and Seven uncles; three great-uncles and two great-aunts. Other relatives: Step-Dad Maurice Ducker, Three other uncles and Four other aunts.

A host of nieces, nephews,cousins, and friends.

Special Friends: Catheisia Holman, Nurkilya Bell, Tonya Purifoy, and Johnny Huckleberry.

Viewing will be held Friday, July 9, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M at The Good Shepherd.

Graveside Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Sandy Cemetery in Centreville, AL.
