TAMMY FAYE ALLEN RAY was born to the parentage of the late Alfred Allen, Sr. and Viola Allen on July 2, 1963 in Helena, Alabama.

She accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Helena Alabama.  She was educated in the Shelby County School System, Graduated from Pelham High School.

She loved cooking especially baking cakes.   Tammy Faye was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan.

She worked at Children's Hospital, Brookwood Hospital and Carraway Hospital.  She also worked at Walmart.

She was united in holy matrimony to the late Milton Ray.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Allen, Sr. and Viola Allen, siblings, Alfred Allen, Jr., William Allen.

Tammy departed this life on September 11, 2023, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.  She leaves to cherish her memories her children; Adam Allen, Texas, Samantha Allen, Bessemer, AL; Siblings, Norman Allen, Springfield, IL, Roland Allen, Bessemer, AL, Norma Johnson, Bessemer, AL, Cynthia (John) Green, Helena, AL, Teresa  Allen, Hoover, AL, Ethel Allen, Bessemer, AL, Sherry (Lodge)  Jackson, Bessemer, AL, Coretta (Curtis) Mahome , Helena, AL, Angela Allen, Helena, AL; grandchildren, Avianna Allen, Texas,  Leon Allen; Aunt, Empree Lewis, Fairfield, AL, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends

No viewing and Visitation on Monday

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023, at 12:00 Noon at The Good Shepherd with interment at Galilee Cemetery in Saginaw, AL.
