Sister Tina (Tammy) Brown Gilbert was born March 12, 1964, to the late Henry Brown and Laura Collins. Sister Gilbert entered into the arms of her heavenly father on February 13, 2022, with her children by her side.

At an early age Tammy joined Union Missionary Baptist Church in West Blocton, AL and was baptized under the leadership of Pastor David E. Gay. She loved attending church and she loved the Lord. She met the love of her life and married Ronnie Gilbert Sr. and to this union four children were born.

She is preceded in death by: her mother Laura Collins, father Henry Brown, her brothers Calvin (Chuck) Brown and James (Jack) Brown.

Those left to cherish her memories are her four children: Keandra (Wilbert) Hale, Ronnie (Loretta) Gilbert, Laura (Andrew) Sistrunk, and Lori Gilbert. Six grandsons, Jorein, Jakorian, Kayden, Kamren, Joshua, and Kolby Lee. Three granddaughters, Shanteria, Dareana and Sariah. Four brothers, Lawrence (Somsri) Collins, Henry Brown, Eddie (Carnilyn) Brown, Lee (Malia) Brown. Three sisters, Mary Brown Burton, Patricia A. Watkins, and Sylvia C. Taylor. A very loving and devoted friend, Willie (Bill) Chapple. Three aunts, Mattie (Harold) James, Dorothy James, and Ruth Collins. And a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends that loved her dearly.

Viewing will be held Friday, February 25, 2022, from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. at The Good Shepherd.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 12:00 Noon at Upper Room Church in Wilton, AL with interment at Shiny Rock Cemetery in West Blocton, AL.
