Obituary

Victor Rush Roebuck, a.k.a. Rush, was born January 19, 1942 in Siluria, Alabama to the late James C. Roebuck and the late Lula R. Brown.

Victor attended Princeton High School in Montevallo, Alabama and lived in Birmingham, Alabama until his departure on March 7, 2019. Victor accepted Christ at an early age, and joined New Vision Christian Church later in life.

Victor was preceded in death by his brother Joe C. Green.

Victor leaves to cherish his memories two, Alabama, Juanita Mays and Cynthia Cook of Birmingham, Alabama; 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild; four sisters and four brothers; a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends; and a very special lady and mother of his two youngest daughters, Josephine McKnight.

Viewing will be held Friday, March 15, 2019, from 12;00 Noon – 6;00 P.M. at The Good Shepherd.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019, at New Vision Christian Center Church in Helena with interment at Liberty Cemetery in Alabaster, AL .
