Virginia Faye Hawkins Wooley

was born in Pelham, AL on June 16, 1953 to the parentage of the late Jewel Hawkins , Sr. and Virginia Hawkins.  She passed peacefully into the arms of The Lord on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Columbiana Health and rehabilitation.

She confessed Christ at an early age with Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Alabaster, AL and late joined Unity Christian Church under the leadership of Bishop Sylvester Mixon, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories; a loving daughter Julia Norris of Calera, AL; Three grandchildren, Kirkland and Kameron Norris, both of Tuscaloosa, AL and Juliana Nyleah Rodriquez of Calera, AL, Two brothers, Jewel (Eva) Hawkins, Jr. and Calvester Hawkins:; Two sisters Juliette Montgomery and Gwendolyn Hawkins: A sister-in-law Carolyn Hawkins , Two Aunts; Freddie Quarles and Ida Mae drivers, two uncles; Oscar (Cindy) Hawkins and William Hawkins,  Jr. ; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins,  and two special friends, Virginia Norris and Morjorie Holifield

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 26 at 2:00 P.M. at Longview Cemetery in Saginaw.

Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 25, 2020 from 4:00 -6:00 P.M. at The Good Shepherd Funeral Home in Montevallo.
