Annie Mae Miller Obituary

Annie Mae (Hayes) Miller
the daughter of the late Mr. Steve Hayes Jr. and the late Mrs. Johnnie Mae Hayes was born in Alabaster, AL on December 01, 1955. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hobie Nathaniel Miller and daughter, Taniko Renee Stoudmire. Early in life, her confession came, and she united with Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Alabaster, AL. She later united with the New Vision Christian Church in Helena, Al, where she was a member until the Lord called her home.
Annie expressed her love for Christ in so many ways. She was a kind person at heart and would give you anything she had. She was very sociable and always opened her home and kitchen to her family and friends. She was the master cook of the family. She always met you with a smile regardless of what she had going on in her life. Annie courageously fought Breast Cancer twice while still caring and loving her family. She was united in marriage to Mr. Hobie Miller.
Together they shared the joys of life to include many cruises with their friends, frequent road trips to Athens, ALL and New York to visit with family.
She received her education in the public schools of Shelby County, AL, where she attended and graduated from Thompson High School in Alabaster, AL. During her public working career, she was employed by Specification Rubber Products, Inco, where she retired after 20 years of service.
She departed this life to keep an appointment with the Lord on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital, Birmingham AlL with family by her
side.
Among those to cherish her loving memories are Son, Louie (Netausha) Stoudmire of Athens, AL, Step- daughter Vanessa Harris of Birmingham, AL, Sister, Othenia (Walter) Turner of Alabaster, AL, Brother, Gary (Vicki Hayes of Alabaster, AlL, four sisters-in-law,Hattie Miller-
Philadelphia, PA; three granddaughters, three grandsons, two great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
