Bessie Lee Ward Farrington

The Obituary~
Bessie Lee Ward Farrington was born on June 30, 1933, in Lawley (Bibb County) Alabama to the late Burnice Ward Sr. And Mazie L. Ward. Bessie was the fourth child of thirteen children, Willie James, Horace, Burnice Jr, Addie, and Rosie Harville, Preceded her in death. She confessed Christ at an Early age. She attended Unionship Baptist church under the leadership of the Reverend William Craig. She sang in the choir as a child. In her adult years she was a active member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, in Montevallo, AL.
Bessie attended Bibb County training school in Centreville, Alabama. Bessie worked for the Bainbridges Family.
Bessie was loved by everyone. She loved family functions, gardening, cooking, quilting, and decorating her home. She was a member of the Eastern Star Tyree Chapter No. 77.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories Lessie Bonner of Birmingham, AL, Benjamin Ward of Birmingham, AL, Alice Frazier and Lenora McMillan of Detroit, MI, Doris Woods of Broadview, IL, Carolyn Melton of, Mildred Pierce of Graham, NC along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Viewing will be held Friday, Nov. 11, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. at The Good Shepherd.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at Lawley Cemetery ( Unionship Baptist Church yard Cemetery) Highway 82 Lawley, Al.
